Most of you have noticed the changes in our January meet schedule. The COVID safety measures for the January 2 meet at Nashua are simply not in alignment with those of our YMCA. We were closed out of the WPI meet before the entry deadline due to stricter COVID measures imposed by WPI.(As of 1/1/22 all of the January WPI meets have been cancelled.)

I've listed below the three meets in our January schedule. The 4th meet scheduled for January 29-30 is very tentative. We(myself and other coaches) have gotten no response from the meet host since it was discussed in October. I doubt this meet will happen. We will have a home meet in its place to include all KYD swimmers.

Public health experts are expecting this latest COVID surge to peak mid-January. Obviously, this may influence meet hosts on how or if they will run their meets. Fingers crossed.
