The last practice of the 2022 Winter Season is Thursday, March 17. There will be no practice on Friday.

The NHSA Championships will be a long day for many of us. The second Saturday session ends at 7:15 pm.

There are 14 jobs to sign up for. All but one involve working on the pool deck. Job details here.

Saturday Livestream

This weekend you will see many swimmers and coaches not wearing masks. In solidarity with the UVAC staff, the UVAC swim team, the UVAC coaches, the meet hosts, and the USA meet officials, KYD will be wearing masks. We don't have to be as strict about it as last weekend, but consider that there will be over 250 swimmers participating in each of the swimming sessions on Saturday. That's ALOT more than at any other UVAC meet over the last two years. We will have "first-class seating" next to the UVAC team. The meet director is very grateful for our gesture. When UVAC invites us to smaller tri and quad meets in the future we'll be happy we made this gesture.

Our swim banquet is tentatively planned for April 30. Why is this getting scheduled so long after the winter season ends? Contact Pedr if you'd like to discuss. This will be a celebration of the team's accomplishments over the last two years. More information will be posted soon.
